300-year-old oak

The “300-year-old tree” is the largest protected tree in Kisköre.

It towers next to the dam keeper’s house on the right dike, approx. 200 metres from the Tisza Bridge.  The impressive English oak is 28 metres high and its trunk size measured 664 cm in 2021. It is worth visiting as a legend is also told about it.

According to a legend,

those who kiss under the tree,

will stay together forever.
